I cannot take credit for the vast majority of the opportunities I've been a part of or the successes I've partaken of. However, I can offer this observation. Much of what happens in my life is due to the simple fact that I show up. I'm in the right room, with the right company. Most everyone there feels the same way, and we want something to happen, to change, or to improve. That begins by being part of the conversation... by being in the room. It happens by being inclusive, but laser-focused on desired outcomes, even if they seem difficult to attain or their fruits will be not directly enjoyed by us, but by a future generation. This morning, be assured that you are in the right room; you are in the right company, and what happens here today is an adventure we can all partake in and be proud of. Welcome to El Paso and I look forward to today's event."
